Westfield, Massachusetts borders West Springfield, which borders Springfield. The military wants to fly incredibly loud fighter jets that it keeps in Westfield low over Green Mountain National Forest, near Brattleboro, on a regular basis, forever. Activists are fighting the scheme. They have a web site at www.StandingTrees.org.
