In Amherst, 250 people marched for jobs with justice on October 22. One of the unions that organized the march has a web page at:

In Springfield, Clinical Support Options (CSO) corporation "is in contract with the state of Massachusetts to provide our homeless shelters throughout the CT River Valley. What we have seen over the last few months is they are failing our houseless neighbors. Between poor conditions, bad food and lack of access to resources, 755 (Worthington Street) is lacking in dignity. The residents wrote a letter asking for a meeting. CSO leadership ignored the letter.”

This represents an over 200 percent increase in unhoused people since 2020... When compared with states across the United States, last year Vermont had the 4th highest rate of unhoused people per capita in the country.”
